What Does General Admission Include?

General Admission tickets grant you access to our 4,000+ square foot space for your specified 60-minute self-guided session.

Ticket sales are capped so that it won’t be crowded!! At this time we have reduced our capacity to just 30 ticket holders per session.

We provide you generous amounts of space to spread out and enjoy our backdrops and props without the need to be near anyone else in the studio. There are 20+ “scenes” with seemingly endless photo ops, which are updated seasonally to bring you fresh new content.

Who Needs A Ticket To Enter?

Everyone over the age of 3 entering The Selfie Museum of Detroit is required to have a ticket regardless of whether they are taking photos, posing for photos, or just coming to hang out.  Anyone ages 11 and under will not be permitted to enter unless accompanied by a ticket holder over the age of 18. We do NOT have a waiting room/area for non-ticket holders - this includes non-ticketed parents. Anyone without a ticket will not be able to remain in the building during the session.  We do not offer refunds, so please be sure to purchase tickets for EACH member of your party in advance.

What Is Your Refund Policy?

 We are not able to offer refunds on our tickets as we  operate on a VERY limited capacity.

Do You Offer Group Ticketing?

To ensure that everyone in the group is able to obtain a ticket for the same session, we do suggest that everyone in the party purchase their tickets on one order. Tickets can be purchased separately, but we cannot guarantee availability for everyone in the group when purchased separately.

What Can I Bring?

All you need is your “selfie”!

If you need more space for props, lights, light stands, or plan to change outfits more than once, please CONTACT US to book a private rental/session. If you are unsure about a particular prop or policy, please  EMAIL US for clarification prior to purchasing your tickets - as they are non-refundable.

Can I Bring a Change of Clothes?

We do have a dressing room available at first come first serve . During general admission, you are limited to 1 outfit change . If you need to change more than that, please CONTACT US to book a private rental. Please note, access to the dressing room is not guaranteed during general admission.

When Should I Arrive For My Session?

In order to make sure that our staff has enough time to properly clean and disinfect between sessions, please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before the time listed on your ticket as you WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ENTER. For the same reason, sessions must end promptly [60 minutes after the scheduled start time] and can not be extended.

Is There A Minimum Age Entry?

We are family-friendly and welcome all ages. We do require anyone with a child's ticket [ages 11 and under] be accompanied by a ticket holder over the age of 18.

Are Children Free?

Children ages 3 and under are free with a paid adult. Tickets for children ages 4-11 start at $25.

Can I Plan A Private Event Or Photoshoot At The Selfie Museum Of Detroit?

We’d love to host your next birthday, bachelorette party, office party, bridal or baby shower at The Selfie Museum of Detroit. Please CONTACT US to start planning your best event ever. Our facility is perfect for a photo shoot. Please CONTACT US to book your private session.

General Admission is best for:

- snapping your own photos and/or upgrade to a package with one of our pro photographers

- a fun experience with family and friends

- making memories
